The USA open show held on Sunday the 22nd of June was a great success, special thanks got to John Reid and Eric Jones for all their much appreciated efforts.
Thanks to Graham Ramsey and Gordon McLoed for being our auctioneers who did a great job in getting the best prices for both the sellers and buyers!
We also want to thank Christine, Joe and Kathy for their excellant work at the top table, keeping a count of the sales and percentages is not an easy task, nobody wants to make a mistake!
Special thanks to the USA judges, Mike, Jill, Eric, Ernie, and Ken.
Also to Iain and May for booking in of the fish and for the work done on the place tickets and certificates etc.
Many thanks also to Jean, and also to everyone involved in keeping the canteen running. Thanks to everyone who donated for the canteen and the raffle.
Thanks also to the runners on the day, Ryan, Martin, Mike and son and also the young lad who helped out (sorry i didn't get your name), but you'll know who you are, without you all the buyers don't get their fish!
One person that will be very pleased is Jamie Sinclair, ( Ian's grandson) who won best junior and also best fish overall. The look on his face with the two trophies in his arms, Well Done!
Second best fish went to Gordon McLeod, and Third best went to Gavin Cowan.
